"MacVey Family Holiday (again!)
The pre-holiday organisation by Outposts Ltd was excellent. DD is the best!!

As for the guides: Rajab (spelling?) in Nairobi was terrific. He was knowledgeable, communicative, and we developed a special bond discussing Kenyan politics. Paul at Elsas was the kids favourite. He even sang and danced with the kids one evening. Fred at Little Governors was also terrific. He led us on our most adventurous game drives, which included a cheetah kill, a wildebeest crossing and lots and lots of lions. Gordon at Cottars was terrific too. We enjoyed many meals with Gordon, and he was, like Rajab, a special person with whom to discuss Kenya politics.

The food was extra yummy everywhere we stayed, and Cottars was the sole camp where we could ask for pizza, cheeseburgers, macaroni and cheese and even eggs Benedict for breakfast. Cottars was wonderfully accommodating.

As our trip to Kenya was our best vacation ever, we would like you to plan another trip for us!!!"

" Umlani, Kruger National Park - 2010
Thank you so so much for sending us to Umlani - we had an absolutely amazing time! We got home yesterday but definitely did not want to leave. It's a really lovely relaxing camp, very rustic and informal but still very romantic! We were so lucky with our game drives and the viewing was much better than we had seen elsewhere as we could track the animals off road -the rangers are amazing at this, really don't know how they do it! We had some very special viewings, including the white lions, leopard with her cub, wild dog with a kill and lots lots more.

One of the highlights for us was spending a night in their treehouse. Its a few km away form the main camp and overlooks a watering hole and they put down a mattress and duvet and pick you up the next morning. So you're right in the middle if the bush with all the amazing sounds - it was great. We didn't see much (some people have had leopard asleep beneath them!) but we loved it."

"Family holiday in Kenya: August 2010
The trip was FANTASTIC and I just cant find the words to describe how much fun we had! For the most part, the adults traveled in one Land Rover and the McVay and Guenther kids were in the other Land Rover that we called The Brat Mobile but they called it The Fun Mobile. Thank you so much for the honeymoon suite at House of Waine we ended up playing cards after dinner in the living room of the suite.

I loved Elsa's and the animals at Little Governor's were so abundant! We saw a cheetah make a kill on a gazelle and we saw tons of lions!

I am so bored and restless to be home! We thank you so much for planning such a great trip! It was a vacation that our family will never forget!"

"Kenya: Borana Lodge and Manda Bay: 11 days, March 2010
I have never been on a holiday when from the first phone call to getting off the plane at Heathrow after the holiday everything went to perfection. From the very outset Outposts took us under their wing and did everything - I have never had such good service.

The game drives and bush walks at Borana were beautifully designed and set up, the food was excellent and there was a lovely homely atmosphere. At Manda Bay the snorkelling, water skiing, night drives, excellent food and 6 star accommodation were all wonderful. Everyone was charming and it was so relaxing. I would have no hesitation in recommending Outposts."

The riding was fantastic as were the game walks. Manda Bay was an amazing place to end the holiday. Everywhere we went we were looked after exceptionally well, the guides were very good and knowledgeable and the food and accommodation were 10+.
A trip of a life time - will definitely return and use Outposts again."

"Riding Holiday, Borana Lodge, Laikipia, Kenya. October 2009
Very special time in a remarkable spot. Food, service, horses, animals, facilities etc. all first rate. It was certainly everything DD said it would be and we had a fabulous time. We will be talking about it for many years to come!"

"Rorke's Drift, Mobile with Lloyd Wilmott, Jack's Camp, Xigera: May 2009

The guides were excellent as was the food and accommodation. The way Outposts dealt with our enquiry was splendid and we were highly satisfied with the pre-holiday organisation. Lloyd Wilmott, who has beein in the business for some 39 years, needs to confirm vehicle state next time!"

"Battlefields and Botswana 2009
Thank you for arranging a great holiday. All lodges were lovely - great accommodation and delicious food. Particularly liked Xigera. All guides were excellent and our guide at Xigera had brilliant bird knowledge. We loved our trip - everything went according to clockwork. You could not have arranged things better - nothing went awry.
Andrew particularly loved our time at Fugitives Drift.
Our time with Lloyd Wilmot was great - I wondered how Andrew would cope with tent living - but it was not like the camping I remember. Comfy beds in great tents. This would certainly be one of our highlights of the trip and I would certainly recommend Lloyd again - he is whacky and fun and interacts with the animals.
In fact all the guides were brilliant and knowledgeable.
I would love to take the children back to go with Llloyd and to go to Xigera.
All the food was delicious even on the mobile safari and everyone was so friendly.
Andrew particularly liked the fact that - apart from tips - everything was paid for up front. It makes a real difference not to be shelling out all the time.
Thank you soooooooooooooo much."

"Family holiday in South Africa. July 2009
A wonderful family holiday. All perfectly arranged. It was over far too quickly but we have fantastic memories."

"Multi-activity holiday South Africa. December 2008
The Horseback safari (Wait a Little) was outstanding and definitely the high point. Brown water rafting on the Olifants was hilarious and Otter's Den and Umlami were amazing locations. Accommodation at all four was very comfortable and we loved the outdoor showers. The visit to Makalali Lodge was probably the accommodation highlight. If you look after all your clients as well as us there is nothing more I can add. We think Outposts are great!!"

" Ten days non malarial family holiday in Eastern Cape encompassing safari and beach
Amakhala was a joy - delightful accommodation and we saw huge amounts of animals. Our ranger in particular was very, very good with our kids. Our rooms at Plettenberg Bay were stunning. We are really glad that you steered us away from the big hotels. We saw whales and did the river cruise. The only slightly disappointing trip was to Monkeyland, however, a trip to the Lawnwood Snake sanctuary more than compensated."
